Role: People Services Assistant

Location: London - there will be a requirement (subject to Covid restrictions) to be in London on a fairly regular basis. At Gousto we are passionate about flexible working so the opportunity to work from home is part of what we do

We have an exciting opportunity for not only one but two People Services Assistant roles here at Gousto! This is a great opportunity to be part of our incredible People journey. As our business grows our People function is also growing and maturing. We are in the process of creating our shared services team (People Services) and have a number of new roles as a result.

You will play a vital role in supporting the business and wider People Team by acting as the first point of contact for all People queries, promoting and delivering a great HR experience. 2021 will see us invest significantly in HR technologies that will support you to do the best possible job.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the People Advisors in achieving exceptional service by utilising our end-to-end core processes throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Offering high standard transactional and support services to internal customers within agreed SLAs.
  • Executing administrative tasks such as starters/leavers and updating respective reports and trackers.
  • Performing Pre-payroll administration for weekly paid employees.
  • Delivering benefits administration, including various enrolments and record maintenance.
  • Striving to constantly upgrade service delivery and customer experience.
  • Identifying challenges and improvement opportunities, working with the team to successfully implement recommended changes.
  • Providing training on people admin tasks as needed.
  • Supporting the delivery of Gousto's People Strategy through occasional project work, testing and research.
  • Delivering an all round world class employee experience.


Requirements

Who you are:
  • You have previous experience in a similar role within a People / HR Team and demonstrable admin/ assistant experience.
  • You are comfortable using HR systems, understanding basic people analytics in order to produce required stats and ad hoc reports
  • You have experience supporting the full employment lifecycle including absences from an administration perspective
  • You are a strong communicator and have the ability to understand and work with complex information.
  • You are naturally discreet, operate with integrity and trust.
  • You are resourceful in your approach to resolving day to day HR issues and queries.
  • You look for and spot key trends and confidently make recommendations for change.
  • You are detail oriented and accurate, focussed on delivery and quality.
  • You live our ownership principles, always acting with integrity and due diligence.
  • You understand the importance of a collaborative environment, with excellent interpersonal skills, down to earth and fun to work with.
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial culture, requiring the best from its people.
