Children's Services Support Hub (CSSH) / Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)

We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Participation & Feedback Officer to join our Children's Services Support Hub (CSSH) / MASH team. This unique role places children, young people, and families at the heart of service improvement by gathering their experiences, feedback, and views following their interactions with our service.
As the Participation & Feedback Officer, you will work directly with children, young people, and their families to understand their experiences of contacting or being assessed by the Children's Services Support Hub/MASH.

Through meaningful conversations and engagement, you will ensure that their voices, perspectives, and lived experiences inform how services are delivered.
  • Engage directly with children, young people, and families to gather feedback on their experiences with Children's Services Support Hub/MASH.
  • Create safe, inclusive, and accessible opportunities for children and families to share their views.
  • Capture and analyse feedback, identifying themes, strengths, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Present findings and recommendations to support service development and continuous improvement.
  • Promote the voice of children, young people, and families throughout Children's Services.
  • Support the development of a reflective and learning culture within the Children's Services Support Hub/MASH.
  • Work collaboratively with managers and practitioners to ensure feedback translates into meaningful service improvements.
  • Champion participation, co-production, and customer experience across the service.

Job Description/Person Specification

Local Government Reorganisation

The Government has confirmed that local government across Lancashire will be reorganised, with the current 15 councils being replaced by four new unitary councils covering North, South, East and West Lancashire from April 2028.

If you are successful in your application, you will initially join Lancashire County Council. However, as part of the planned transition, your employment will transfer to one of the new unitary councils from April 2028, subject to the implementation of the reorganisation and relevant employment legislation.
