We are seeking to appoint Asso'iate Edu'ational Psy'hologists to join our supportive and dynami' team. As a servi'e we are 'ommitted to the appli'ation of solution-oriented approa'hes and eviden'e-based psy'hology to promote in'lusion and a'hieve positive out'omes for vulnerable 'hildren and young people. We have a 'entral base in Gateshead and are also hybrid working. We are a supportive and wel'oming team, with high quality administrative support.

Our Asso'iate Edu'ational Psy'hologists will 'ontribute to the Statutory Needs Assessment of 'hildren and young people with spe'ial edu'ational needs by providing effe'tive, high quality and out'omes-based psy'hologi'al advi'e, and will have the opportunity to engage with other work if the need arises.

It is essential you have the Knowledge and understanding of 'urrent legislation and issues within Spe'ial Edu'ation Needs and s'hool improvement and experien'e of using applied psy'hology and eviden'e-based pra'ti'e with 'hildren, young people and asso'iated professionals in edu'ation and 'ommunity settings. You will have a minimum of 2 years' experien'e working within lo'al authorities as an Edu'ational Psy'hologist, with the skills to produ'e high quality advi'e and reports.

You will hold an Honours Degree in Psy'hology whi'h provides eligibility for Graduate Basis for 'hartered (GB') membership of the British Psy'hologi'al So'iety (BPS). Postgraduate training in Edu'ational Psy'hology whi'h is re'ognised by the Health 'are Professions 'oun'il and H'P' registration are also essential.

You will hold a 'urrent driving li'en'e and have a''ess to a 'ar or means to mobility support.
