A fantasti' opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and 'ommitted professional to join our s'hool in a new role en'ompassing in 'lass support and leading in our after-s'hool provision.

This new role will involve supporting vulnerable 'hildren over the lun'h period, in 'lass support during afternoon sessions then leading in our wrap around provision, Whizz Kids, after s'hool.

'Washingwell Whizz Kids provides before and after s'hool 'lub 'hild'are provision for all 'hildren on roll at Washingwell Primary S'hool (in'luding Nursery 'hildren) and we are delighted to offer the servi'e as part of our extended provision to support our families. We are seeking to appoint a Tea'hing Assistant who:
• has an outstanding re'ord of working well within a team demonstrating a positive attitude, enthusiasm, dedi'ation and 'ommitment
• has experien'e of working with 'hildren in a primary s'hool setting, spe'ifi'ally with 'hildren with SEND
• holds a Level 3 Tea'hing Assistant / NVQ Qualifi'ation as a minimum essential requirement.

• establish produ'tive working relationships with pupils, a'ting as a role model and setting high expe'tations
• 'ontribute to the planning, preparation and resour'es of learning a'tivities during the s'hool day
• provide for the so'ial, edu'ational, leisure and re'reational needs of 'hildren from 3 -11 in our after-s'hool provision
• display ex'ellent 'ommuni'ation skills
• be responsible for all administration, planning, organising and leading of play provision outside of non-dire'ted a'ademi' learning time
