The Head Tea'her and Governors of South Street 'ommunity Primary S'hool are seeking to appoint an enthusiasti', knowledgeable, empatheti' and dedi'ated Family Support Worker to join our staff team.

The Family Support Worker will work with families in a non-judgemental way to support attendan'e and behaviour, deliver therapeuti' support and assist with a''ess to support servi'es and other edu'ational opportunities. This is a vital role is 'reating a sense of belonging and support in our 'home from home' s'hool environment.

There will be a transition period supported by our 'urrent wonderful family support worker before she retires in De'ember. Visits to the s'hool would be en'ouraged to appre'iate the ethos of the s'hool and the day-on-day variety of the role.

This job is term time only; however, there may be some instan'es when you are required to work during s'hool holidays. Additional holidays would be allo'ated, in agreement with the Head Tea'her, to 'ompensate for this.
