These roles are embedded within CFHD's Physicaland Sensory Pathway, a large multidisciplinary service bringing togetherOccupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech and Language Therapy to improveoutcomes for children and young people across Devon.
The Experts at Hand programme is an innovativemodel supporting children, families and educational settings throughconsultation, coaching, training and targeted intervention. Successfulapplicants will help shape this exciting service while remaining connected toestablished children's therapy teams.

Main duties of the jobAs a Band 5 Occupational Therapist you will:
- Assess, advise and provide intervention forchildren and young people with functional, developmental and sensory processingneeds.
- Manage a defined caseload under the supervision of senior OccupationalTherapists.
- Work collaboratively with children, families, educational settings andpartner agencies to support participation, independence and achievement ofgoals.
- Provide advice, support and training to parents, carers, schools andprofessionals.
- Contribute to delivery of the Experts at Hand model by supporting inclusivepractice and capacity building within education settings.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team alongside Occupational Therapists,Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Specialist Practitioners.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and work in line with professional,organisational and legal requirements. Participate in supervision, mandatory training and continuing professionaldevelopment activities.
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement and evaluation ofoutcomes. Promote safeguarding and the welfare of children and young people at alltimes.
