POSN005453 - Occupational Therapy Caseworker

12-month fixed-term post or secondment

Newport City Council's Adult Social Care service is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapy Caseworker to join our Community Occupational Therapy team for 12 months, on a fixed-term basis or secondment opportunity.

You will support adults to maintain their independence, safety and wellbeing by completing strengths-based assessments, identifying practical solutions, and arranging appropriate equipment, minor adaptations, technology and other interventions. You will work closely with occupational therapists, social care colleagues, health professionals, housing services and partner organisations to deliver timely, person-centred support.

We are looking for someone with relevant experience in social care, health or a related setting, strong communication and organisational skills, and a commitment to promoting independence. Training and professional support will be provided.
