Training & Qualifications

Essential criteria

• Venepuncture Training and Competency
• Registered Adult Nurse - Current registration with NMC and active pin
• Immunisation and Vaccination Course

Desirable criteria

• Health Surveillance Experience/Course.(Spirometry, Audiology, HAVS)

Experiance

Essential criteria

• Competence in performing venepuncture and/or experience of delivering vaccinations in line with routine and selective immunisation programmes
• Awareness and knowledge about blood borne viruses.
• Experience of using Occupational health clinical I.T databases e.g., OPAS G2
