What We're Looking For:
• A Registered Nursing Associate
• Great communication and clinical decision-making skills
• A non-judgmental, empathetic approach
• Phlebotomy experience essential
• Experience of infusions is desirable, if not, we'll provide full training

Main duties of the job

  • Provide core Associate sexual health and HIV nursing skills including microscopy, chaperoning, and venepuncture, and cryotherapy, genital examination of male and female patients.
  • The collection, handling and processing of samples (including cervical cytology).
  • To work in all aspects of sexual health and HIV services.
  • Use appropriate clinical guidance documents.
  • Pre-test discussions with patients regarding HIV and Hepatitis using interpersonal skills to assess patients understanding, risk and eligibility.
  • To adhere to Imperial College Healthcare NHS trust policies on child protection and Fraser competencies in relation to sexual health and the under 16's.
