Main duties of the job

In this key role, you will help ensure our hospitals provide a safe, clan and compliant environment for patients, staff and visitors. Working closely with the Infection Prevention & Control Team, Ward and Department Managers, and Estates & Facilities colleagues. You will carry out environmental audits, support quality improvement activity, and provide accurate and timely reporting across our sites.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Good general standard of general education including Maths and English


Desirable criteria
  • ECDL or similar IT qualification


Experience

  • Experience of carrying out audits, inspections or quality assessments
  • Experience of working within healthcare, facilities, estates or environmental services


Desirable criteria
  • Experience using healthcare audit software systems
