You will play a key role throughout the translational development pathway, shaping clinical protocols and guiding bench, phantom and cadaveric validation in the early stages of the project. You will then continue to work closely with the engineering team on preclinical in vivo (porcine) validation and the progression towards first-in-human evaluation. Throughout the programme, you will contribute across device design, biophotonics, AI-based image registration, human-robot control, and regulatory and ethical engagement, providing exposure to the full medtech innovation pipeline rather than a single narrow discipline.
