We are recruiting a Night Social Care Workerat Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 18 hours
Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time
Location: Various Locations across the Borough
Team: Provider Services

We are also seeking to recruit four Casual Relief Social Care Workers to provide flexible cover across our services.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organisation.

We pay an attractive salary of £13,917 - £14,605 and offer access to training and development opportunities.

We are looking for caring, committed and motivated individuals to join our Adult Services team as a Social Care Worker.

In this rewarding role, you will provide high quality care and support to adults with a range of needs enabling them to remain as independent as possible and to fulfil independent lives.

You will work in a person-centred way, promoting dignity, choice, respect and wellbeing at all times.

You will be supported through ongoing training and development and be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering high quality services.

For the role, we ask that you have:

• Requirement to achieve a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care within an agreed timescale.
• An understanding of the principles that underpin a quality care environment ie Privacy, dignity, respect, choice, independence and rights.
• Ability to work shifts on a rota basis, and work flexibly, including weekends, bank holidays and sleep in duties.
