An opportunity has arisen to work within the Newborn Hearing Screening team at Bradford Royal Infirmary
You will work as part of a team carrying out hearing screening of newborn babies involving giving information to parents, gaining consent, performing the screen, informing parents of the results, and inputting results electronically onto Trust/National systems. As the service is provided 365 days per year the role will involve weekend working

Knowledge Essential - Understanding of Information Governance and Confidentiality
Desirable - Knowledge of hearing and hearing loss

- Awareness of limitation of own knowledge/skills
Qualifications Essential - Willingness to complete Newborn Hearing Screener diploma and external competency assessment
- *GCSE (Grade C and above or equivalent) in English and Mathamatics
Desirable - NNEB, BTEC, ONC, NVQ, Apprentership in Health/ Health and Social Care
