Job summaryThis post is a Fixed Term/ Secondment until 31/03/2027. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Cancer Services Team as a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) Co-ordinator. This is an opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality cancer care across Hywel Dda University Health Board.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to Cancer Multidisciplinary Team Meetings, working closely with a wide range of healthcare professionals to support patient-centred care and the effective management of cancer pathways. We are seeking a confident individual, who is comfortable communicating with clinical and administrative colleagues, has excellent organisational skills and can work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Main duties of the jobAs a Cancer Services Co-Ordinator (MDT), you will
- Co-ordinate and support weekly Cancer Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings.
- Prepare and maintain MDT documentation, patient lists and meeting outcomes within agreed timescales.
- Collect, validate and record patient pathway information on relevant cancer information systems.
- Monitor patient progress through the Single Cancer Pathway and support the achievement of national cancer targets.
- Liaise with consultants, clinical nurse specialists, radiology, pathology and administrative teams to ensure patients are appropriately discussed and managed.
- Ensure MDT decisions and outcomes are accurately documented and communicated to relevant teams. Maintain high standards of data quality, accuracy, confidentiality and information governance.
- Support audits, reporting requirements and service improvement initiatives within Cancer Services.

- RSA/OCR 3 or equivalent experience.
