Job summary

Whilst we welcome all applications, please not we do not offer sponosrship for this role.

We are looking for an administrative officer to join our Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) in the West area, cross covering our St Albans and Dacorum teams to provide comprehensive administrative support.

The Post holder will be based at any of the two sites:
  • Marlborough School (St Albans)
  • Astley Cooper School (Hemel Hempstead)

Office working is required as well as travel to other HPFT sites.

Main duties of the job

You will co-ordinate information, provide administration and clerical support in order to facilitate the effective running of the service for the West teams. This will include diary management, comprehensive management and inputting of data such as opening service user records, minute taking, meeting preparation, and ensuring maximum efficiency of processes. It is essential that you have GCSE in English Language and Mathematics Grade C or above or equivalent.

  • Educated to Secondary Level with GCSE maths and English level 2 or above
  • Extensive experience of working in an office environment
  • NVQ3/RSA3 or equivalent experience
Desirable

  • Experience in healthcare/education setting
  • Knowledge of healthcare terms used in their day to day working
  • ECDL qualification
COMMUNICATION SKILLS

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in person, on telephone, and electronically.
