Job summaryAt present, University Hospitals of North Midlands is unable to offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 to Band 4 roles, as these positions do not meet the minimum salary and skill thresholds required under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations. An exciting opportunity has arisen with in our Gastroenterology secretarial department. The successful candidate will be required to support the Medical Secretarial Team in the delivery of a comprehensive administrative service, outline new and efficient processes and inpatient and outpatient waiting list management for our speciality, in accordance with the Patient Access Policy. You will be required to communicate appointments and admission related information to patients and carers along with answering queries both verbally and written, and typing correspondence within performance targets as appropriate, and supporting in the delivery of the local and national NHS targets, while supporting with the management and utilisation of clinics within your area.
