The Caerphilly Early Years and Childcare Team is looking for an enthusiastic and creative Marketing, Communications and Engagement Officer to help raise awareness of our services and ensure families can access the support they need.
At Caerphilly, we believe every child deserves the best start in life. Our team supports expectant parents and families with children aged 0-7, helping them access high-quality support, advice and opportunities. In this varied and rewarding role, you'll lead marketing, communications and engagement activities across a range of channels. You'll work closely with colleagues, partners and families to promote services, develop compelling content and case studies, and share the real impact of our work.
This is not a desk-based role. You'll be out in communities, attending events, visiting partner organisations and early years settings, and building relationships with families and stakeholders to help connect people with the support available. We're particularly keen to hear from candidates who are proactive, enthusiastic and confident communicators, with the ability to build strong relationships and turn ideas into meaningful outcomes.
The team operates from multiple locations, offering opportunities for office and home working, alongside regular community engagement across the county borough. Join us and help families access the support they need while making a lasting difference in your local community.
For the role, we ask that you have: - A relevant Level 6 (Degree) qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework. For example Degree in Communications or Marketing.
- High level knowledge of IT systems and computer literate.
- Experience within marketing / communications.
- A Full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business / work purposes to travel throughout the borough to attend events, launches, meetings etc.
