£13.25 per hour

This is a 0hrs contract with working many in the evening Monday to Friday at either Nottingham High School or Harvey Hadden Sport Complex

Want to play an important role in supporting student sport at NTU?
NTU Sport is looking for qualified Lifeguards to support our Swimming and Water Polo Club activities at hired off-site pool facilities.

You will be responsible for providing a safe environment for club members during training sessions and activities, ensuring appropriate poolside supervision and responding quickly and effectively in the event of an emergency. You'll help maintain high safety standards, support the positive experience of our student athletes, and work closely with club members and NTU Sport staff.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with students, remains calm under pressure, and takes pride in creating a safe and welcoming environment.

With flexible hours linked to club training and activity sessions, this is a great opportunity to gain experience within a university sport environment while supporting the development of student sport.

Our Facilities
We have a fantastic range of sports facilities at our City campuses, including industry-standard gym equipment, a 10m climbing wall, a sports hall, dance studios and a sports therapy suite offering physiotherapy and sports massage.

Our Clifton campus is home to the Lee Westwood Sports Centre, a fully floodlit all-weather astro-turf pitch, three brand new squash courts, an exercise studio, sports hall, grass pitches and a newly refurbished fitness suite.

Our Equestrian Centre at Brackenhurst features both indoor and outdoor arenas and holds a variety of events throughout the year, including unaffiliated and affiliated dressage competitions, and unaffiliated show jumping.
