As one of the fastest-growing Colleges in the UK, Weston College is excited to be opening the brand-new Advanced Manufacturing Technical Excellence College in Filton, Bristol, which will welcome its first learners in September 2026.

As part of our expansion into our new site, we are looking for someone to join the team on a part-time basis (15 hours per week) as a Lecturer in Engineering - Electronics (AMTEC).

The working pattern for this role for this academic year, will be Tuesday (all day) and Wednesday (all day).

Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at AMTEC.

As a Lecturer in Engineering - Electronics, you will deliver Electronics units to a number of cohorts of Apprenticeships within Engineering.

Day to day duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

• Providing high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across a number of programmes as agreed with the Head of Area;
• Tutorship of students, showing sensitivity to their needs and encouraging the highest possible standards;
• For meeting targets with reference to student progress on programme, for their attendance and retention;
• Providing advice and guidance to students in their progression to either employment or other courses within the College.

Required skills and qualifications

• Degree level qualification, or equivalent in a relevant area.
• Knowledge and experience of current teaching strategies.
• Knowledge of Electronics within Engineering.
