Person specificationEducation/Qualification Essential criteria - Registered RN5 Learning disabilities nurse, level 1 with current NMC registration Educated to degree level.
- Educated to degree level
Experience Essential criteria - Experience of establishing & maintaining good working relationships
- Experience of working across multi agency services.
- Experience of holistic assessment
- Awareness of Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards -Experience of completing Mental Capacity Act
- An awareness of financial management, especially in relation to brokerage and invoicing
- Experience of completing Mental Capacity Act Assessments
Skills & Knowledge Essential criteria - Evidence of continuous professional development
- Knowledge of National Framework for NHS Continuing healthcare and Nursing Funded Care and associated legislation and guidance
- Proven clinical Leadership Skills
- Excellent negotiating skills (to promote change & when dealing with resistance to change)
Key Attributes Essential criteria - Ability to assess patients with complex needs
- Ability to lead case conferences/MDT meetings
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Able to manage own workload
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively both written & verbally
- Able to deal with challenges and appeals with the support of the Clinical Lead
- Understanding of the roles of different professional groups
- An awareness of financial management, especially in relation to brokerage and invoicing
