Lead Research Practitioner

Job description

• Current NMC registration (Adult RN1/ RNA) (Nurses only). Or to be accredited on the AHCS Accredited Register for CRPs and to maintain continued registration (CRPs only).
• Degree or Diploma in Nursing (Nurses only) or Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Research or Life sciences (CRPs only)
• Current ICH-GCP certificate
• Informed Consent training
• Evidence of ongoing professional development

• Post-graduate qualification with a research methodology element

• Minimum of three years' post registration clinical experience in an acute NHS environment
• Substantial experience in Oncology or Haematology nursing/ equivalent experience (CRPs only)
• Experience of supervision and mentoring junior members of staff and students
• An understanding of research governance and quality assurance processes
