St Andrew's is a popular two-form entry infant school situated in a semi-rural location on the outskirts of Coventry. Our pupils are happy, enthusiastic, and well-behaved learners who make our school a fantastic place to be.

We are currently looking to recruit new colleagues to join our team of dedicated teaching assistants. Our Headteacher, (Mrs Underhill) would be delighted to provide interested applicants with a tour of our school.

What is the job role?

St Andrew's is looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our happy, caring and child centred Team.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking to appoint an experienced teaching assistant who:
• Has recent experience of working with Reception aged children
• Has experience of supporting children to become confident readers, writers and mathematicians.
• Has experience of supporting children with additional needs, (physical, educational and emotional)
• Has experience of supporting neurologically diverse children
• Recognises and celebrates the uniqueness of every child.
• Uses positive behaviour management strategies and demonstrates a compassionate and restorative approach to dealing with behaviours.
• Works effectively with colleagues as part of a team.
• Whose personal values align with those of our school.
• Will actively contribute to school life and the wider community.
• Possesses a sense of humour, positive outlook and have empathy.
• Is a reflective practitioner who recognises the importance of professional learning.
