Here's the exciting bit... A day incldes:
As Insrance Manager, yo will ensre Sperdrg, Savers and The Perfme Shop are appropriately insred against all risks and exposres, working closely with K and global brokers.
Yo will oversee the Grop's insrance arrangements, manage brokers and third-party loss adjsters, provide insrance advice across the bsiness and lead the annal Grop insrance renewal for presentation to the Board.
Yo will also manage complex losses, recover money owed throgh store-level property losses and make informed liability decisions relating to personal injry and motor claims.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage prodct liability, employer liability and pblic liability personal injry claims, liaising with stores, insrers and solicitors.
Investigate claims and obtain the necessary docmentation to spport decisions on whether liability shold be admitted or denied.
Review the Grop's property losses and provide cost information to third-party insrers to maximise recoveries.
Ensre solicitors' correspondence and cort claim forms are handled within the reqired legal deadlines.
Manage property claims and demonstrate third-party negligence to recover losses for the bsiness.
Handle motor claims and work with insrers to spport effective risk-management soltions.
Attend reglar meetings with solicitors, brokers and insrers to ensre appropriate processes, docmentation and risk-management systems are in place.
Keep p to date with changes to legislation and relevant cort cases that may affect insrance and safety across the bsiness.
Review invoices throgh Bottomline to ensre payments are correct, not dplicated and allocated to the correct cost centre.
Act as the main point of contact for K and global broker qeries.
Advise departments on insrance implications and ensre sppliers hold adeqate insrance cover.
Maintain the insrance property portfolio across all Grop bsinesses to ensre every property remains appropriately covered.
Prodce insrance data and reports for internal stakeholders when reqired.
Work with and line manage the Insrance and Safety Adviser.

• What yo'll need:
A good nderstanding of personal injry, property and motor claims legislation and processes.
Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
Excellent IT skills, particlarly Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Confidence commnicating with and meeting new people, with a positive and energetic approach.
The ability to manage competing priorities and make well-informed decisions.
Previos line-management or people-management experience.
A relevant insrance qalification or professional accreditation wold be desirable.
