ROLE DESCRIPTION

Are you passionate about raising teaching standards and inspiring excellence?
Lewisham College is seeking an Improvement Practitioner in the Quality Team to drive professional development; support teaching staff in achieving good and outstanding practice and to make a real impact on the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment across the College.

About the Role

As an Improvement Practitioner, you will:

• Evaluate, coach, and mentor teachers to enhance classroom practice.
• Research and share best practice from internal and external sources.
• Audit teaching and learning documentation and highlight areas of excellence.
• Conduct training needs analysis and implement tailored development plans.
• Collaborate with curriculum teams and the Quality Team to embed improvement strategies.
• Deliver inspiring continuing professional development sessions and develop innovative learning materials.
