Person specification

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Minimum 5 GCSE's or equivalent one of which must be English at Grade C or above
  • Additional patient focused skills e.g. manual handling, infection prevention


Desirable criteria
  • Current Basic Life support (BLS) certificate
  • Certificate in venepuncture/ cannulation support


Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of working in caring environment or with the general public
  • Previous experience of working as an Imaging Assistant in a hospital


Desirable criteria
  • Reception / clerical skills
  • Proven experience handling sensitive or confidential information


Skills

Essential criteria
  • Evidence of computer skills
  • Evidence of a proactive attitude
  • Evidence of working well within a team
  • Evidence of MRI safety awareness


interpersonal skills

Essential criteria
  • Clear and concise application
  • Evidence of a calm, composed demeanor under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Flexible approach to working long days/ travelling to different sites to support departmental needs
