Job description

• Good level of literacy and numeracy
• Knowledge of Microsoft and computer programs

• Recent NHS experience

• Experience of working with the public

• Experience of dealing with patients in a healthcare environment

• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Reliable and industrious.
• Good verbal and communication skills
• Caring and friendly demeanour

• Proven communication skills in dealing with vulnerable people and potentially distressing situations.

• Good physical mobility
• Capable of standing for long periods
• Ability to deal with exposure to potentially unpleasant conditions e.g. blood, bodily fluids

• Patient handling skills

• Flexible approach to working with the ability to work shifts on a rotational basis

• Must be able to demonstrate behaviours consistent with the Trust's "We listen, we care" behavioural standards

• Able to recognise own limitations
• Able to respect confidentiality
