Join Inspire North as a People (HR) Assistant! Ready to be the person behind the people?
Love organisation, solving problems and helping things run smoothly? Enjoy making people feel welcome, supported and informed? If so, we'd love to hear from you.
At Inspire North, our People Team helps to create a positive colleague experience from recruitment through to career development and beyond. We're looking for a People Assistant to join us and help deliver a warm, effective and values‑led employee experience.
This is a varied, hands‑on role where no two days are quite the same. You'll support recruitment and onboarding, maintain people systems and records, respond to colleague queries, and help ensure our processes are efficient, compliant and people focused. Alongside this, you'll support People initiatives and improvements that make working here feel simple, supportive and genuinely human.
If you're organised, proactive and take pride in doing things properly (and kindly), this could be the perfect opportunity to develop your People career.
What Makes You Our Kind of Person: You don't need to know everything on day one - we'll support your learning - but you'll thrive in this role if you:
- Have experience in an administrative or People/HR support role (or transferable experience you're keen to build on).
- Are highly organised, detail‑focused and comfortable juggling priorities.
- Communicate clearly and kindly, whether by email, phone or face‑to‑face.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion, professionalism and care.
- Can work confidently with systems, data and digital tools
Why Join Us? At Inspire North, we know that when people feel supported, appreciated and encouraged to be themselves, they can do amazing things - and we want you to be part of that.
Here's what you'll enjoy as part of our team: - Flexible working options so you can balance life and work in a way that genuinely works for you.
- Hybrid working - enjoy the best of both worlds!
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days with service - because rest matters.
- Loads of learning and career development opportunities, including paid and personalised training to help you grow.
- Free, confidential Employee Assistance Programme 24/7,including counselling andGP services - your wellbeing comes first.
- Employer contributory pension scheme to help secure your future.
- Great maternity, paternity and adoption benefits to support you and your family.
- Exclusive care workers discounts to make everyday life that bit easier.
- Active Employee Networks including People of Colour, LGBT+, Mental Health and Accessibility - because everyone deserves to belong.
- Health and wellbeing initiatives to help you feel your best, inside and out.
- Cycle to Work Scheme to keep you moving and support greener choices.
- Corporate Health Plan to support your physical and mental health.
We proudly embrace diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive, anti-racist environment where everyone can thrive by being their true self. Join us in driving this important agenda forward and help shape a workplace where all voices are valued!
If you're ready to use your skills to help others succeed, we'd love to hear from you.
