HR Administrator ASMPT is looking for an experienced HR Administrator to join our Human Resources team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.This role is ideal for someone who already has experience working within an HR department and is looking for an opportunity to further develop their skills while supporting a broad range of HR activities across the employee lifecycle. You'll play a key role in ensuring our HR operations run smoothly, supporting employees, managers, payroll processes, HR systems, and wider HR initiatives.
Working closely with our HR Business Partners and wider HR team, you'll have the opportunity to build on your existing HR knowledge while gaining exposure to a variety of operational and project-based activities.
The Role: As HR Administrator, you'll provide efficient and accurate administrative support across the full employee lifecycle, including:
- Producing contracts, letters and other employment-related documentation.
- Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes and maintaining associated records.
- Updating and maintaining HR systems, ensuring employee data remains accurate and up to date.
- Supporting payroll administration by preparing and checking employee changes and maintaining payroll trackers.
- Acting as a first point of contact for HR queries from employees and managers.
- Maintaining HR templates, employee files and documentation in line with company procedures.
- Producing HR reports and supporting data requests from the HR team.
- Assisting with HR projects, continuous improvement activities and wider departmental initiatives.
- Raising purchase requisitions and supporting other administrative processes where required.
About you: We're seeking a capable and organised HR professional who can quickly become a valued member of the team.
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Previous experience working in an HR Administrator, HR Assistant, HR Coordinator or similar HR support role.
- Experience supporting employee lifecycle processes, including starters, leavers and HR administration.
- Experience maintaining confidential employee records and handling sensitive information.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work accurately to deadlines.
It would be advantageous if you also have:
- A CIPD qualification or are working towards one.
- Experience using HR information systems.
- Exposure to payroll administration processes.
- Experience using SAP or similar business systems.
