Making a Positive Impact, Together.Doing things differently.Hourly Paid Lecturer Veterinary Nursing/ Animal Unit
£50.75 per direct hour, this includes 2 or more of the following elements: teaching, preparation and marking of the scheduled programme of work.
A flat rate of £20.72 per direct teaching hour will be paid for completing one of the above elements of the schedule.

The number of hours required and the days of the week may vary.

Alternate Thursdays during term time for 10 weeks

About the Role
As a member of the Veterinary Nursing Technical Team, provide practical teaching, demonstration and guidance to Veterinary Nursing students undertaking animal handling sessions, supporting them to develop confidence, competence and appropriate practical skills.

Demonstrate and supervise safe, appropriate and welfare-focused animal handling techniques, providing clear instruction and constructive guidance to students throughout practical activities. Work alongside academic and technical colleagues to support the effective delivery of practical teaching and ensure students have meaningful opportunities to develop and practice their skills.
