Person specificationQualifications Essential criteria - Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy
- HCPC Registered
- Evidence of post graduate training/qualification relevant to clinical area -paediatrics, respiratory and cystic fibrosis
Desirable criteria - CSP member
- Member of CSP Specialist section - APCP
Experience Desirable criteria - Ability to demonstrate working with regional/national networks
- Significant clinical experience within paediatric respiratory and or cystic fibrosis
Key skills Essential criteria - Provide enhanced clinical care in line with professional registration, code of conduct and defined scope of practice, being responsible and accountable for decisions
- Able to work as a team player/ independently
- Standard key board skills & the ability to use IT packages such as Word, Outlook, Power point & Excel
Experience Essential criteria - NHS experience working at senior level
- Significant clinical experience within paediatric respiratory and or cystic fibrosis
- Experience of working as an integral member of a multidisciplinary working and inter agency working
- Demonstrate active involvement in the audit process
- Experience of change management and implementing evidence based practice
- Experience of supervising and mentoring junior members of staff and pre-registration students
- Experience of developing staff and sharing knowledge
Desirable criteria - Ability to demonstrate working with regional/national networks
Knowledge Essential criteria - Demonstrate enhanced level of theoretical profession specific knowledge
- Evidence of current practices and developments within the field paediatrics / respiratory / cystic fibrosis
- Sound knowledge of interventions relevant to clinical area
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of clinical governance including implications on service and audit
Key Skills Essential criteria - Provide enhanced clinical care in line with professional registration, code of conduct and defined scope of practice, being responsible and accountable for decisions
- Flexible and adaptable to prioritise workload
- Demonstrate self-reflective practice and experience of supporting others with reflective practice through supervision or mentorship

- Demonstrate ability to use evidence based practice to inform clinical care
- Able to work as a team player/ independently
