HIGH LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT

We are looking for a driven, positive and experienced candidate to work as a HLTA across the school.

Cover Supervisor with PE Grade E1 ( FTE £33,178.00) Actual salary £25,744.00

Hours 32.83 hours per week Monday-Friday

(2 days 8.30 - 4.30, 3 days 8.30 - 3.30) Term Time Only

Candidates must have:

• High Level Teaching Assistant qualification or similar qualification/experience
• The ability to be self-motivated and driven to support the needs of all children
• The ability to cover classes from Years R-6
• Enthusiasm and relevant knowledge to teach across variety of curriculum areas
• To plan and lead an extra-curricular activity twice weekly
• To be creative and knowledgeable to different strategies to use within the classroom, as well as strong behaviour management skills
• To be proactive and work as a good team player with members of staff and children

This post is a fixed term position to start as soon as possible.
