Qualifications

Essential criteria

• Registered Nurse
• Educated to Degree level

Desirable criteria

• Evidence of recent speciality related learning

Experience

Essential criteria

• Demonstrate experience at a band 6 or Senior Band 5 level
• Evidence of mentorship/teaching experience

Desirable criteria

• Recent experience working within gastroenterology or Hepatology
• Demonstrable autonomous decision making

Knowledge

Essential criteria

• Evidence of continuing professional development

Desirable criteria

• Working knowledge of patient administration systems
• Hepatological conditions

Key skills

Essential criteria

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively at all levels, with good listening skills as well as clear written and oral presentation skills
• Ability to work in a highly confidential manner
• Positive approach to customer care and seeks to enhance service provision
• Can demonstrate initiative

Desirable criteria

• Good multimedia communication skills
• Advocates, drives and role models optimum flexibility and efficiency
