Job summary

We are looking to recruit several permanent Health Care Support Workers - this is a rewarding role within our Families, Young People and Children's, and Learning Disabilities & Autism Services (FYPCLDA) at our CAMHS inpatient services.

We provide 24/7 care throughout the year, and our staff work a variety of day and night shifts. Health Care Support Workers work on a rotational basis to provide care to our patients.

We are dedicated to the care we provide, and Health Care Support Workers are an important part of our staffing team. You will work alongside Nurses, Doctors, Occupational Therapists and Psychologists as part of the multidisciplinary team.

We are committed to offering training and development opportunities and will support you to develop your career. We are looking for Health Care Support Workers who are caring, compassionate and genuinely interested in working with patients.

The Wards provide multidisciplinary support and care planning to patients with complex medical and rehabilitation needs. We provide high quality and compassionate care to our service users.

Main duties of the job

This role supports the qualified Nursing staff and the wider multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of direct patient care and supporting patients in maintaining their health and wellbeing.

Our services to patients are on a 24/7 basis and you will be expected to work a variety of shift patterns. This role is within our CAMHS inpatient services.

We try and accommodate individual needs through flexible working but can't guarantee we can accommodate every request.
