Main duties of the jobUnder supervision of a registered nurse you will work as part of a team to deliver high standards of care, supporting patients to feel safe, cared for and supported within the hospital environment. Duties will include:
- Provide and support patients as necessary with personal care activities e.g. Washing,bathing, toileting, feeding.
- Recording patient information within the Electronic Patient Record (Cerner).
- Observe patients and reports any changes to a registered professional for review.
- Undertake a range of basic housekeeping and administrative duties within the clinical environment.

Person Specification Qualifications, Specific Experience & Training Essential - Level 2 qualification (e.g. GCSE Grade A-C, NVQ2) in Health & Social Care OR o A good standard of general education to GCSE level and the agreement to undertake the relevant L2 qualification on appointment
Desirable - Experience working in a clinical environment
- Experience working in the NHS
Knowledge and Skills Desirable - Previous experience and training of manual handling patients using appropriate equipment
