We are looking for a Head of School who will provide visible, ambitious and values-led leadership. The successful candidate will create the conditions for high-quality teaching, learning and assessment; strong learner attendance, retention and attainment; and a culture in which staff are supported, challenged and empowered to improve.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape Engineering & Computing provision at Crosskeys Campus. The Head of School will have responsibility for curriculum quality and performance, staff leadership and development, effective resource deployment, employer engagement and ensuring that provision remains responsive to local and regional skills priorities.

The ability to use the Welsh language at a basic level (or willingness to undertake training) is desirable.

Requirements & Compliance

• Safeguarding: Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check and EWC registration (costs covered by the candidate).
• Qualifications: Lecturers must hold or be willing to achieve a teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) within a set period.
