Job summaryManages administrative and pathway co-ordination for patients with a haematological cancer diagnosis. Working closely with CNS team, Consultants and other colleagues within Airedale and outside organisations.
Co-ordinating patient appts, scans, results and MDTs, providing updates and presenting if required.
Maintain accurate data bases and documentation.
Auditing, collating information and presenting if appropriate.
Patient communication handling sensitive phone calls or face to face discussions, fielding patient queries, knowing when to escalate.
Main duties of the jobExcellent communication skills, verbally and non verbal.
Co-ordinate the patients pathway.
Work closely with CNS team and Consultants to support patients in clinic, HODU and the wards
To put patients at the center of all care.
Work autonomously and as part of a team.
Liaise with outside colleagues
To know own limitations and escalate appropriately
