  • About The Role
  • Group Vehicle Operations are recruiting for a Used Vehicle Planning Analyst on a full-time Fixed Term Contract basis until November 2027.

Reporting to the Group Used Vehicle Planning & Supply Manager, you will support Group Vehicle Operations by delivering accurate planning, forecasting, operational reporting and business intelligence. You will analyse vehicle sales, stock, order bank and de-fleet performance, develop automated reporting solutions and turn complex data into clear, actionable insight that supports effective decision-making across Volkswagen Group brands.

Skills & experience you can bring to the role:
    • Advanced Excel skills, with strong numerical, analytical and financial reporting capability
    • Experience of planning, forecasting and analysing performance against targets and historical trends
    • Experience of developing automated reporting and business intelligence solutions using Power BI, Power Query and Excel
    • Ability to consolidate, quality-assure and interpret data from multiple sources
    • High attention to detail, accuracy and quality
    • An understanding of vehicle planning principles and experience analysing vehicle sales, stock, order bank or de-fleet performance
    • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across financial, operational and brand stakeholders

What will I do in the role?

As a Used Vehicle Planning Analyst, your week will combine planning, performance analysis and reporting. You will coordinate annual budgets, planning rounds and monthly forecasts by brand, converting new vehicle sales reforecasts into used vehicle in-fleet, de-fleet and stock plans. You will monitor performance against plan, identify risks and opportunities, support monthly trading and overhead reporting, and contribute to accurate financial reforecasts and NRV provisions.

You will develop and maintain automated dashboards, reporting and data transformation solutions using Power BI, Power Query and Excel. This includes analysing sales, stock, order bank and de-fleet performance; improving data accuracy and accessibility; supporting PDI and de-fleet capacity planning; and producing clear management information for GVO leadership, brand teams and financial stakeholders. You will also support business-critical reporting, including Electric Car Grant monitoring and periodic Supervisory Board materials.

    What can we offer you?
Along with a competitive salary, car schemes (including cars for family members), a discretionary bonus, enhanced pension contributions, private healthcare, 27 days' holiday plus bank holidays, four-times life assurance, and health and wellbeing support, we also offer a wide range of flexible benefits to suit you and your lifestyle.
