We are recruiting a Groundsman at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 37
Contract Type: Full Time, Fixed Term until 31/03/2027
Location: Tir Y Berth Depot
Team: Green Spaces and Transport Services

This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organisation.

Join our team and help keep our communities looking their best. We are looking for a motivated individual to carry out a wide range of grounds maintenance duties, working independently and as part of a team across parks, play areas, sports pitches, cemeteries, school grounds, highways, waterways, housing estates and industrial areas. You will play a key role in maintaining safe, clean and attractive outdoor spaces for residents and visitors to enjoy.

For the role, we ask that you have:

• A Manual Handling Certificate.
• Knowledge in the Councils Safe Working Practices and Risk Assessments applicable to operating of machinery and plant.
• The ability to travel and work around the County borough.
• The ability to work outside of normal hours.
