WSP has a dedicated Microclimate team providing specialist advice to our property clients in the residential, retail, aviation, commercial, health care and industrial sectors, both in the UK and internationally. Services offered by this team include building performance analysis, external wind environment assessments and mitigation studies; daylight/sunlight and overshadowing impacts on existing properties and open spaces, solar glare, interior daylighting and visual comfort within new developments.

A typical week would include:
  • Providing wind microclimate consultancy to our property clients on various projects
  • Working effectively alongside other consultants within the Microclimate team and the wider business

Wed love to hear from you if you have:
  • Degree in a relevant field
  • Experience in the field of Wind Engineering in the UK
  • Specific experience on the application of CFD in the wind environment
  • Experience with relevant software
  • The ability to script and write code where necessary
