Your important role will involve a range of duties as required to assist in the development and implementation of research projects on an as and when basis. This supportive role is based in the Yorkshire Quality and Research Research (YQSR) Group and will involve working on exciting programmes of work within the National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR) Yorkshire and Humber Patient Safety Research Collaboration (YHPSRC).

Main duties of the job

  • Work closely with colleagues to support ongoing research projects in the YQSR Research Group in line with research governance and data protection guidance;
  • Assist with data collection and follow-up of research participants;
  • Assist in qualitative and quantitative data analysis;
  • Other responsibilities will include supporting literature searching, completing relevant administrative tasks, supporting the dissemination of the findings in different formats, including but not limited to publications, presentations, blogs, infographics, website content, brief reports;
  • Receive appropriate support and guidance in organising and prioritising their workload across research activities and projects.
  • General support will be available from the YQSR research support office. For specific projects, each flexible researcher will be supported by a designated researcher.
