Full time Permanent - 40 hours per week

Based - East Midlands Airport

The role

. As Fleet Maintenance Manager , you will oversee the maintenance of operational vehicle fleet at East Midlands Airport , covering everything from snow removing equipment, ambulifts to cars.

You will lead a team of five, making sure maintenance, repairs, testing and servicing are planned and delivered safely and effectively. This includes assigning work to the right team members, ensuring health and safety requirements are followed, and making sure parts are sourced on time.

We are looking for someone who understands vehicle technology, fleet sustainability and the importance of a well-maintained fleet in keeping the airport running safely and reliably.

What will make you successful in the role?

To be considered for this role , you will need relevant experience, with as many of the skills listed below as possible. You must also be able to travel to East Midlands Airport daily and be open to occasional overtime .

An NVQ Level 3 in vehicle maintenance , or an equivalent qualification, is essential. • Experience in a workshop environment.
• Experience in leading a team essential.
• IOSH Managing Safely (desirable).
• Internal Quality Systems Auditing or equivalent.
• Full clean UK Driving Licence.
• Class 1 or 2 HGV Licence would be an advantage.
• Ability to remain flexible to overtime demands and available for On - Call requirements
• Good communication skills both written and oral.
• Microsoft Office IT Literacy.
