Fitness Instructor

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The successful candidate will be required to work shifts of up to 5 hours (15 hours max per week) across a full week comprising of mornings, evenings and weekends as determined by the Fitness Facilities Coordinator.

The main propose of the role is to support users of the Fitness Centre and other sports facilities at all University sites. You will provide excellent levels of customer care and assist with the day-to-day running of the department across all aspects, provide one-to-one training to members of the gym, instruct fitness classes and promote physical activity and wellbeing to our service users. The role also involves administration and clerical tasks, e.g. reception duties, reporting maintenance issues, cleaning, facility checks, opening and closing of sports facilities, movement of equipment, set-up and break down of sports equipment, health and safety checks of sports facilities.

The Fitness Instructors are based in the University Fitness Suite and sports facilities, situated at the Exton Park Campus, and are line managed by the Fitness Facilities Co-ordinator (FFC).

KEY DUTIES:
  • Administration and clerical tasks

CONTRACT DURATION & HOURS OF WORK:
