Location: Sperdrg Head Office, Sydenham Road, Croydon
Hors: 37.5 | 9.am-5.3pm - Hybrid working available depending on role responsibilities, with two days working from home and three days in or stylish, modern and collaborative office close to East Croydon Station.

This is a varied role within or Commercial Finance team, partnering with the Merchandising, Spply Chain and Bying teams.
Yo will take ownership of key reporting and management acconting activities, trning financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights. Yo will also help drive process improvements, enabling the bsiness to deliver its company targets and improve profitability.
A day in this role incldes:
Prodcing reglar reporting and analysis on stock performance, inclding stock vale, weeks cover, and aged and slow-moving stock.
Monitoring performance against bdget and forecast, highlighting key risks and opportnities.
Partnering with Finance, Merchandising, Bying and Spply Chain teams to nderstand performance and spport decision-making.
Investigating financial and operational isses independently, sing data to identify root cases and recommend soltions.
Analysing variances and clearly commnicating the key drivers behind performance to stakeholders.
Working with large datasets to identify trends, anomalies and areas reqiring frther investigation.
Providing ad-hoc analysis and spport across the wider Finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
Spport the Finance Manager with the management of stock provisions, write-offs and other stock-related P&L impacts.
Spport bdgeting and forecasting processes by providing relevant analysis and commercial insight.
Maintain and improve Excel and BI-based reporting, identifying opportnities to atomate and simplify existing processes.
Spport month-end stock acconting activities, inclding balance sheet reconciliations, inventory reviews and the investigation of discrepancies.
Spport the month-end review of Cosmetics and Fragrance cost centres, reporting variances to the Heads of Trade.
Investigate margin discrepancies and provide promotional analysis across two key trading areas.
Bild effective relationships with finance and non-finance stakeholders across the bsiness.
Proactively identify opportnities to improve reporting, controls and ways of working.

• What yo'll need:
To be part-qalified in an accontancy qalification or have the intention to stdy towards one.
Strong Excel skills and the ability to learn new technical skills qickly.
A passion for driving change and improving processes.
A keen eye for detail and a genine interest in Finance.
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to nderstand and commnicate the story behind the nmbers.
