We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Family Support Worker to join our dynamic team. You will play a vital role in working with children, families, and professionals to achieve positive outcomes. If you have a passion for childcare and a drive to make a difference, this role is for you! Please note, this is a temporary post for 7 months with potential to extend.

As a Family Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Collaborating with children, families, and professionals to develop tailored support plans.
  • Engaging with families to provide guidance and support in achieving their goals.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of your work.
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to a positive team environment.
  • Delivering structured interventions and support to families in need.

To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Experience working with children and families, ideally in a social care setting.
  • A thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection issues.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
