Job summaryThe role of the Facilities Senior Supervisor is to support the Soft Facilities Manager, Facilities Supervisors and staff and provide cover for him/her in their absence.
To provide a first-class facilities service to cancer patients many of them who are terminally ill, visitors and staff, to include wards, day clinics, dining room and other functions within soft facilities Services.
Main duties of the jobSoft Facilities management services are delighted to be able to offer the opportunity to an enthusiastic motivated individual to join the Soft Facilities Management services management team at the current Velindre Cancer Centre and the up and coming future new Velindre Cancer Centre.
The successful candidate will be committed to providing a front-line service that is patient focus covering all aspects of the SFM departments.
To support the Facilities Services managers and supervisors in ensuring compliance in Health & Safety, waste, training, legislation and policies and procedures across all disciplines of SFM Services.
Responsible for ensuring all facilities services supervisors and staff undertake the full range of duties expected of them in relation to the provision of patient catering services, domestic services, portering, switchboard/reception to patients, staff and visitors, according to the operational policy current at the time.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
