About the Role

Are you a passionate and dedicated EYFS Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school, where you'll create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that supports young children as they develop their confidence, independence, and love of learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and age-appropriate lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages children to explore, communicate, and learn through play.
  • Support children's development across the seven areas of learning, including communication and language, physical development, and literacy.
  • Develop children's early reading, phonics, writing, numeracy, and social skills through engaging activities and purposeful learning experiences.
  • Observe, assess, and record children's progress, using observations and assessment information to inform planning and provide targeted support.
  • Promote positive behaviour, independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing within the classroom.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support children's development and wellbeing.
  • Contribute to EYFS planning, assessments, observations, and wider school activities where required.
  • Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times.

Requirements
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
  • Experience working with children within an Early Years or Reception setting.
  • Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
  • A passion for creating engaging and play-based learning experiences.
  • A commitment to supporting children's individual development and helping them achieve their potential.
  • An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
