Job description

Hill Park School is a three site (Primary/ Secondary) maintained specialist school in Portslade, Brighton catering to students aged 4-16 years of age.

We are expanding our existing Outreach and Inclusion Service with additional funding following the SEND White Paper Reforms.

We are looking to recruit teachers with experience of supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs in both mainstream and specialist settings.

Paid weeks per year: 52 (inclusive of holiday entitlement)

Start date: November 2026

About the Role

The aim of this expansion is to embed city wide, our Ordinarily Available Provision and support children and young people with SEND to achieve the best outcomes in mainstream provision.

We are a small, but warm and friendly Outreach team who are looking forward to expanding the service to be able to meet a greater range of need across the city.

We are looking for people who:

• have resilience and a commitment to meeting the needs of children with SEND
• are excellent team players who are flexible and reflective
• can provide sustainable support to teams within mainstream schools
