Children Looked After, Exeter & East Devon.

We are looking for an Experienced Social Workers with a passion for making positive changes to join our Children Looked After (CLA) Team covering Exeter & East Devon.

We believe that home is where the heart is - and for most children, that means staying with their families, supported by strong, local networks and place-based support. When long-term care is needed, we work hard to deliver permanence from day one, our dedicated CLA team implement restorative practice and relational ways of working, to support children in building lifelong connections with their families and communities.

About the Role

As an Experienced Social Worker within Children Looked After you will be supported by a stable, knowledgeable and experienced management team.

About You

This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where your creativity, resilience, and compassion will help promote long-term, positive change.

Driven by purpose, your skills and experience will include:
  • A recognised social work qualification & SWE registration
  • Completion of your ASYE
  • Experience in multi-agency and court settings
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A deep understanding of children's social work legislation and theory
  • A commitment to putting children at the heart of everything you do
