About . University of Liverpool
Liverpool, UK
Job description
Hours of work: Full-time - 35 hours per week
Tenure: Fixed term until September 2027
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a student-focused, highly organised, and dedicated individual to join the University of Liverpool's triple-accredited Management School (ULMS) on a fixed-term basis until September 2027. You will become part of our highly motivated and professional Employability Team, providing tailored support to both undergraduate and postgraduate students across the School.
We are seeking an individual who can build effective working relationships, coordinate and promote a wide range of employability events and activities, and provide high-quality administrative support to the team. The post holder will play an important role in ensuring students are fully prepared for the world of work, supporting the delivery of an outstanding student experience from enrolment through to graduation.
In addition to supporting day-to-day employability activities, the role will contribute to key operational processes, including the coordination and monitoring of risk assessments for placements, events, and other student-facing activities. The post holder will also support the management of reference request processes, helping to ensure requests are handled efficiently, professionally, and in line with University requirements.
ULMS is one of the largest Schools within the University, with over 5,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students from diverse national and international backgrounds, alongside approximately 200 academic staff delivering more than 40 programmes of study. While we support a large student community, we recognise that every student's journey is unique. Your contribution to ensuring each student receives a positive and supportive experience will therefore be highly valued.
You should have experience of working in an office environment and be confident using a range of standard University administrative systems. Experience of coordinating and promoting events and activities would be advantageous. You will work closely with colleagues across the Management School Employability Team, academic departments, and the University's central Careers and Employability Team to ensure our services are delivered to the highest possible standard.
To succeed in this role, you will possess excellent organisational and communication skills, a collaborative approach to teamwork, and the ability to manage a varied workload with attention to detail. Most importantly, you will share our commitment to delivering exceptional support to students and helping them achieve their personal and professional goals.
