The main purpose of the role is to manage and discharge the policing responsibility of the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 for Emergency Planning and enable West Mercia
to respond effectively alongside other responder agencies (as identified under the CCA and other legislation i.e. JESIP) for major incidents. Manage
an effective Business Continuity Management Programme in compliance with the Civil Contingencies Act, 2004. Prepare West Mercia Police to
ensure continuity of critical teams and services in the event of a business interruption.

• Emergency Planning and Business Continuity Manager role is a hybrid role (Open to Flexible and Agile working - role will cover whole of force and expectation candidate will travel - if not travelling then office most of time)
